Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:

To help the Small Project Engineers in producing piping design:

· Interfacing with the Project Engineers and Discipline Engineers to come up with the most suitable piping and structural design for the purpose.
· Review the Piping and support design drawing proposed by the Engineering Contractor.


· Site Survey Actual Dimensions of Piping and Structural in the field for making as-build, and ensuring that the proposed modification design is suitable to be constructed.
· Make Isometric and detail drawings for piping and structural.
· Produce Bill of Material for the Piping and Structural work.
· Make As-Built Drawing based on the red Markup Drawings.

Qualifications

Required/ Preferred Project Management Skills:

· Strong interpersonal skills and self driver.

· Basic awareness/ understanding of all key disciplines interfacing with piping and structural design.

· Experience in offshore & onshore project environment is an advantage.

Required/ Preferred Engineering Design Skills:

· Basic Level of piping and structural engineering is an advantage, especially in oil & gas environment.
· Sound knowledge of piping design & layout including good knowledge of ANSI B31.3 aspects relating to piping design
· Software package skills:
o Autocad latest release
o PDMS knowledge is an advantage

Required/ Preferred Fabrication and QC Skills:

· Exposure to Fabrication, Construction and Installation works:

o Reviewing and validating piping and structural material specification against the actual material received on site/ in delivery points.
o Skill on recognizing type of material and their dimensions

Required/ Preferred Engineering Documentation & Specification Skills:

· Familiar with the Oil & Gas Material/ Equipment Specification and Data Sheet

Special Skills, Training or Certification:

· 4 – 5 years of Drafting and Piping/Structural design experience.
